Ellendale Notes

Come Friday afternoon I'll be hitting the road for Ellendale, where I'm supposed to provide song & story for an event featuring wine-tasting and an exhibit of portraits by Ken Schmierer, Dakota Line Portraits. I'm hoping by then this cold I've been carrying for more than a week will have dissipated. Here's a flyer on the event, An Evening at the Opera. Also, I've just received this Winter 2008 newsletter, Opera Notes, courtesy of Grant Crabtree. It's amazing how much is going on in the old Opera House! The newsletter notes the upcoming community theater production on 21-23 November as well as long-range plans for a pageant to celebrate the old hall's centennial.
