Saturday Dec. 13, 2008 11a.m. - 9 p.m.
Art exhibits by regional artists all day; children's art activity 11 a.m.; evening social for over 21 with spirits and live music from 6-9.

Art Extravaganza at Sibyl Center
Regional artists will exhibit at a Holiday Art Extravaganza at the Sibyl Center in Stanley December 13.
The event begins at 11 a.m. when the artists' works go on display on Sibyl's soaring main floor. Also at 11 is a children's art activity in the lower level for ages 2 and up which will conclude by 1 p.m. The show itself continues throughout the day and is capped off with a social from 6-9 p.m. with light refreshments, wine samples, cash bar and music by Renaissance Brass. Patrons must be 21 to attend the social for which there is a suggested donation of $5.
Chairing the event are Barb Kraft of Berthold and John Spitzer, Stanley, who are also participating; Kraft as a featured artist and Spitzer as a featured musician in Renaissance Brass. The Taube Museum of Art's director, Nancy Walter Brown, Minot, will orchestrate the children's activity with help from volunteers.
